Community members participated in seminars on planetary well-being and sessions on communication, ethics, and open science
Our patron, RMIT Europe, and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center collaborated on the organization of the first annual AuSpire event, a postdoctoral research program for researchers from Spain and Australia focused on planetary well-being. The event was held at the Diagonal Nord Campus of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona.
Lasting three days, the event allowed members of the AuSpire community to connect with each other, participate in professional development workshops, and strengthen an international research collaboration network. They participated in seminars on planetary well-being and sessions on areas such as communication, ethics, and open science. Postdoctoral fellows and their supervisors also had the opportunity to participate in project visits and cultural activities.
As highlighted by RMIT Europe on its LinkedIn profile, the third call for applications for AuSpire will open in the coming months for positions related to bioinformatics, biology, metabolic diseases, underwater laser communications, engineering, water quality, and genomics, and will benefit a total of 28 postdoctoral fellows.
