It has a fund of up to $100,000 for projects that provide lasting benefits to the Jindera community
Our patron Global Power Generation (GPG), part of the Naturgy Group, announced the launch of the first round of applications for its Community Grants Program for the Glenellen photovoltaic plant in Jindera, Australia.
This program is part of GPG's Community Benefit and Engagement Plan, which seeks to promote initiatives in areas such as social development, sustainability, education, health, and the arts. To this end, it has allocated up to $100,000 for projects that provide lasting benefits to the Jindera community.
Community organizations, local associations, and non-profit entities will be eligible for these grants with proposals that include energy efficiency improvements, cultural events, training programs, equipment, and school initiatives, among others. A committee of local representatives will evaluate the applications and select the beneficiary projects.
With this program, Glenellen and GPG reaffirm their support for the growth and well-being of the local community.
