The Spanish institution is aligning itself with the Australian Government's CRC-P program to support cooperation between the industrial and research sectors
CDTI Innovation recently announced the possibility of submitting proposals for bilateral collaboration with Australia on R&D&I projects. To this end, CDTI offers partially repayable funding within the framework of International Technological Cooperation Projects with unilateral certification and monitoring. Eligible beneficiaries are companies that propose the development of an R&D project in collaboration with Australian entities.
For the Australian partner, the "Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) Grants" program has been identified. This program, launched by the Australian Government, aims to support cooperation between the industrial and research sectors in the country. CDTI notes that it can align with this call for proposals to ensure that partners from both countries have access to decentralized funding that supports research activities on both sides.
The application period for Australian entities in the new call for proposals for its Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) Grants program will close on May 12, 2026. The program will award grants of up to 3 million Australian dollars for projects with a maximum duration of three years aimed at addressing technological challenges across all sectors. Applications must be submitted by an Australian consortium comprised of at least two Australian industrial entities and one Australian research organization. The Australian Government allows successful applicants to collaborate with foreign entities to implement the projects.
