Both awards highlight the company's performance in various sustainability-related areas.
Continuing its inclusion in the FTSE4Good index recognizes Naturgy's progress in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters. This international index evaluates companies based on various sustainability criteria and serves as a benchmark for investors interested in companies with outstanding performance in these areas.
Meanwhile, the EcoVadis Gold Medal places Naturgy among the top 5% of companies rated by this organization for sustainability. This distinction recognizes the company's performance in the EcoVadis assessment and builds on the recognition Naturgy has received in previous years.
These two international awards reinforce Naturgy's strategy focused on a sustainable energy model, in line with its commitment to the energy transition, renewable energy, and reducing its environmental impact.
