It provides five new Urbos light commercial vehicles and modernizes the fleet of 14 vehicles
Our patron CAF - Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) recently announced the successful completion of supply and modernization projects with Canberra Metro and the Australian Capital Territory Government (ACT Government) with the delivery of five new Urbos light rail vehicles.
These vehicles are equipped with on-board power systems and modernize the existing fleet of 14 vehicles.
As CAF points out in a post on its LinkedIn profile, this achievement reflects the commitment and collaboration of teams across CAF, including the Projects teams in Zaragoza and Beasain, the Engineering Modification team, and the Maintenance team in Canberra.
The Spanish company emphasizes that, together with Canberra Metro, it supports safe, reliable, and sustainable public transport, improving the passenger experience and contributing to a more sustainable future for Canberra and the ACT Government.
