Both institutions have signed a cooperation agreement to organise the Earth Forum in November
Professor Luis Salvador Carulla, representing the Association of Spanish Researchers in Australia-Pacific (SRAP), and the Secretary General of the Spain Australia Council Foundation, Mr. Alonso Dezcallar, signed the cooperation agreement for the organization of the Earth Forum.
The Forum will be celebrated 15th and 16th of November in the Australian National University (ANU) Headquarters in Canberra, with the support of the Embassies of both countries and the Ramón Areces Foundation.
Water, Light and Air Forums were held in previous years, and this will be the fourth time the Foundation will be collaborating in this event. The main objective of the Forum is to study the different aspects of this elements with human beings, especially in matters related with both counties related scientific advances. It also seeks the rapprochement between Spanish and Australian researchers and the interested institutions and companies.
The Earth Forum, among other topics, will give special attention to climate change, development of new agricultural techniques and issues related to urbanism, the wellbeing, demographic changes and health.
