The Spain Australia´s Council Foundation Director, Vega Yubero, attend to the reception offered by the Australian Embassy in Spain
The past 24th of January, the Australian Embassy celebrated the Australian National Day. The Secretary General of the Spain Australia Council Foundation, Jesús Rodríguez-Andía, and the Director of the SACF, Vega Yubero, attended, as well as other representatives of some companies of the Board, like the General Director for North América, Eastern Europe, Asia and the Pacific, Ana Sálomon.
The Australian Ambassador, Julie-Ann Guivarra, hosted the event that was a meeting point for the Australian community in Madrid, as well as for companies, institutions and other entities with interest in Australia.
The 26 of January is the Australian National Day, and celebrates the arrival of the First Fleet of British ships to the Sydney Bay in 1788.
